The Blog is Back!

Hi everyone! Sorry that this blog has been out of commission for a while, but we're starting back up again with some really exciting news. The Mill Outlet (both the stores and the website) has a huge variety of merchandise at 20-50% off regular retail prices. Additionally, this is the time of year when we start getting in a lot of new merchandise. We've recently added a variety of new C&F quilt patterns to the site, including Bridgewater, Flip Flops on the Beach, and Coastal Treasure. These quilts feature an array of fun, beachy and nautical patterns, to help us all get ready for summer. And, as with all C&F quilts, they are heavy enough to be used in cooler weather, but lightweight enough to be enjoyed in warmer weather as well. We're continually updating C&F as well as the rest of the bedding as more items arrive, so please check back often.

LinenGals' Tip of the Month: In such a difficult economic climate, we are all looking for ways to help save money wherever possible. While a lot of our merchandise can be machine dried, it can also be lined dried. Not only does this help to save on utility bills, but it may also help to increase the life of the item, by reducing the stress on the fabric and the chances that it will become brittle due to overdrying.

New Spring Merchandise Has Arrived!

Although it may still be chilly outside, Spring has arrived at The Mill Outlet, bringing with it lots of exciting new merchandise! We have several new quilt patterns from C & F Enterprises. Some of our most popular new quilts for the Spring are Beach Life and Beach Bum. These tropical quilts combine various shades of blue, green, and yellow for a beachy and Spring-like atmosphere! If you like Beach Life and Beach Bum, you may also like Ventia, a beautiful floral quilt that contains many of the same colors. Another popular floral quilt by C & F is Magnolia. These two floral patterns provide the perfect light quilts for Spring. Finally, Nantucket Dream is a new nautical pattern that is sure to please anyone in your family! This blue and white striped quilt looks great in any bedroom. These quilts are just a taste of what is coming! We are expecting many more exciting new quilt patterns in the coming weeks.

We also have new patterns from Croscill! In particular, check out Tree of Life. This classic oriental floral design is perfect for any time of year! Wisteria is another very popular yet elegant floral pattern. Crisp and clean, Wisteria is perfect for Spring. We are expecting many more new patterns from Croscill in the near future.

It is with regret that after 20 years of selling quality Thomasville bedding products, we must inform you that the company has closed. We are no longer able to order any Thomasville products. However, we still have some pieces in the store available for purchase. If you see a particular Thomasville pattern on the website that interests you, please call us toll-free at 888-207-3053 to verify that we have the pattern in stock. While Thomasville was one of our main bedding manufacturers, please note that we still have many other quality products available to purchase online. Those of you interested in Thomasville products may also wish to look at comforters by Croscill or quilts by C & F Enterprises.

LinenGals Tip of the Month: When washing or drying towels, it is best not to use fabric softener, as over time, it will reduce the absorbency of your towels.

As summer comes to an end....

With fall fast approaching, we at The Mill Outlet hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer of 2007. It's certainly gone by quickly, and it's already time to start thinking about cooler weather and the accompanying linen changes. Here at The Mill Outlet, we have several favorite items for fall.

Fall bedding includes Cappuccino by Croscill, Tahitian Sunset by Thomasville, and Blockbuster by Park B. Smith. Koren and Caspienne quilts by C&F Enterprises are also good for cooler weather. In addition, check out Aspen by Columbine Cody, an organic cotton coverlet perfect for fall.
